Air Peace Executive Lounge Opens at Lagos International Airport (LOS)
Air Peace has unveiled the airline's first-ever airport lounge. The new Executive Lounge has opened at the Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS). To kick off the excitement, the airline had its ribbon-cutting ceremony on February 14th (Valentine's Day) with airline employees, members of the press, and dignitaries, as well as some lucky airline passengers.
The new lounge is located at MMIA in the International Terminal 2. From a size perspective, the lounge appears to be pretty small but provides many complimentary amenities for both business and leisure travelers. The actual square footage was not given, but it was reported to have seating for 39 guests.
Amenities
Inside the lounge, the décor embraces a stylish cream tone with chairs and tables and features six ergonomically crafted recliner chairs designed for relaxation. Other amenities include self-serve food and snacks, an espresso machine, beverages, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, and a dedicated business center furnished with monitors and a printer. There are also TVs, charging ports, and a flight monitor to keep track of your flight status.
Access
The lounge is complimentary for “premium passengers,” such as first-class and business-class passengers. There was no mention of day passes, and the lounge does not appear to be a member of any lounge programs such as Dragonpass or Priority Pass.
Future Plans
During the press interview, it was mentioned that the next lounge for the carrier will be located in Abuja (ABV), but no timeline was given.
Closing Thoughts
It's very exciting that Air Peace has opened its first lounge. Air Peace operates as Nigeria's and West Africa's largest airline with service to 13 destinations across 8 countries. Nigeria has decent lounge coverage with four airports offering lounge options.
