JetBlue opened its first-ever airport lounge called BlueHouse on December 18, 2025! This new lounge opened at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in Terminal 5, near Gate 526, and is open daily from 05:00 - 22:00 (10 pm). The two-story lounge spans 9,000 square feet (836 m²).

Amenities

The lounge offers different areas designed for relaxation or working. The design in the lounge features local art with decorative molding and brass accents, bringing a warm, residential-inspired feeling. High-speed Wi-Fi and charging ports are available throughout the lounge. For those wanting to relax, there are dedicated quiet areas and prepared meditations to help relax before departing. For those seeking fun, there is a TV area and game room where customers can play classic games like cards, checkers, and Connect 4, as well as grab a memento from the family-friendly photo booth. Customers can also request additional travel-friendly amenities to make their journey more comfortable.

BlueHouse helps make our flagship terminal feel more like home, It’s warm, comfortable, and elevated in a way that’s distinctly JetBlue, with the hospitality and thoughtful amenities our customers have been asking for.

- Marty St. George, President of JetBlue

Dining and Beverage

Fresh foods, premium snacks, and sweets are inspired by NYC's iconic eateries. BlueHouse offers guests fresh grab-and-go bites such as bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches and pastrami on rye or chicken Caesar wraps later in the day.

Local sommeliers and mixologists have created a menu of artisan wines, local beers, and cocktails served in one of two bars. Hot and cold espresso-based drinks, as well as other specialty drinks such as chai, matcha, and teas, are available all day.

Closing Thoughts

This is the most exciting lounge news so far for December. There is no mention of restrooms or showers, but I imagine restrooms will be inside the lounge. I am very excited to get a chance to visit and look forward to seeing the other (Boston) location open next year. I have seen reporting saying that the lounge will be limited to 140 passengers; to me this is a good idea, and I do appreciate how they are working to control overcrowding.
