LoungePair has expanded its network to now include 1,400+ lounges around the globe. The new strategic partnership specifically expands lounge choices in the Asia-Pacific region as well as other locations around the world.

LoungePair has recently announced it has signed a “Supplier Agreement” with Dragonpass. This agreement allows customers to use Dragonpass member lounges around the world, but most notably is the large addition of lounges in Asia and China. This partnership expands the overall catalog of lounges listed on the LoungePair website.

What is LoungePair?

LoungePair is a travel technology company and website based in New Zealand that provides customers with an easy option to purchase in-advance or walk-up lounge day passes for locations around the globe. LoungePair helps customers gain lounge access without the need for a membership, loyalty status, or premium tickets. There are two tiers of membership: LoungePair (Free, pay per use) and LoungePair+ ($99/€89 per year). The LoungePair+ membership includes a free lounge pass, credit for unused passes, discounts for companions, other discounts, and priority customer service. To offer this service, LoungePair has established partnerships with major lounge companies, including Plaza Premium, Godair Handling, Aspire, Escape, DreamFolks and more. I checked about 10 lounges, and the pricing averaged around $45 / €40 (per person).

Dragonpass for Everyone

This news is very exciting for everyone, but most notably for customers in the United States and countries where getting Dragonpass is a bit difficult. Dragonpass is a lounge membership program similar to Priority Pass. There are so many people that get access to lounges with Priority Pass, but not having Dragonpass can limit choices, especially outside the United States. Currently, Dragonpass offers lounge access at over 675 airports and offers access to over 1,400 airport lounges.

Two notable lounges that are partnered with Dragonpass but not Priority Pass are the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges in San Francisco (SFO) and New York LaGuardia (LGA).

Closing Thoughts

I am super excited to see a simple way to access lounges that were before difficult or off-limits with my current Priority Pass membership. I have considered getting a Dragonpass membership for many years but have never had one. Now with LoungePair I can quickly purchase access to a Dragonpass and other lounges with ease.
