TAV Operation Services and Vasil Levski Sofia Airport (SOF) in Bulgaria have signed a contract to build and manage two new (Primeclass) business lounges at the Sofia airport, with a planned opening sometime in 2026.

We are proud to partner with Sofia Airport in this exciting new chapter said Aude Ferrand, CEO of TAV Operation Services and CCO of TAV Airports. This collaboration marks not only our commitment to redefining the airport journey for the modern traveler, but also the debut of our newly reimagined Primeclass identity – an elevated experience rooted in contemporary design, immersive spaces, and lifestyle-driven hospitality.

The common-use business lounges will be located in each terminal and will provide a comfortable and quiet environment for relaxing business and family travel, away from the noise and congestion of the terminals.

Amenities

Terminal 1

The Terminal 1 lounge will span 4,736 square feet (440 m²) and have seating for 125 customers.

Terminal 2

The lounge in Terminal 2 will have both an indoor space and an outdoor terrace with seating and tables. The indoor space will span 5,812 square feet (540 m²) and the outdoor terrace will span 4,844 square feet (450 m²). The terrace will have panoramic views of the runway, a designated smoking area, and be accessible for those with reduced mobility.
