PS Ribbon Cutting at Miami (MIA) with Luxury Lounge and Suites
PS has taken lounge to the next level with the ribbon-cutting of its newest location near Miami International Airport (MIA). PS, formerly known as The Private Suite, is an upscale venue that offers passengers VIP services at select airports. First started in Los Angeles (LAX) in 2017, this service has now grown to four locations (ATL, DFW, MIA, and LAX), with one additional location announced to open in Paris, France (CDG).
The Miami ribbon cutting took place with staff, airport employees, government officials, press, and even some former Pan Am Airways flight crew on June 17, 2026, with scheduled operations and reservations beginning June 30th.
The lounge is located to the north of Miami International (on the airfield), just off of NW 36th Street, and is in the historic Pan Am headquarters building.
What is PS?
PS is a luxury service that provides travelers with a unique travel experience. This includes upscale dining, a full bar, private rooms, spa services, U.S. Customs and TSA clearance, airside car service, and other amenities before or after your flight.
Also launching later this year, is PS Direct which will offer integrated door-to-door transfers, transporting guests between aircraft and home or hotel. Across every touchpoint, the experience is defined by thoughtful precision, from private BMW chauffeur transfers and chef-prepared dining.
Airside Transportation
PS drives you across the airfield directly to your aircraft in a chauffeured vehicle. On arrival, they can also pick you up from the aircraft and bring you back to the PS terminal.
Pricing
Pricing to access the experience is a bit complicated depending on what services you are wanting and if you are a member or non-member. But at a high level, the base service for non-members is $1,295 per person. This includes access to The Salon, which is a shared room with a full bar and chef-prepared meals, access to the outdoor grounds (if available), security screening, and airside transfer to or from your aircraft. The next step up is the Private Suite; this is a private room for up to 4 travelers and costs $4,950.
There are two annual membership options: the All Access and The Salon. Each of those will give you discounts on daily access, bespoke in-room service, free valet parking, and priority reservations.
They also offer optional services, including massage, barber, and manicure services, which are only available for those using the Private Suite rooms.
Closing Thoughts
I have never written about PS before, but from an airport lounge experience, this appears to be the pinnacle of luxury. I am also excited to see other options that compete with airline-offered direct-to-gate service. Also, as an AVGeek, I must mention that the Miami location (in the former Pam Am building) is a must-see.
