Qantas has opened its first Domestic Business Class lounge at the Adelaide Airport (ADL) in Australia. The new lounge spans 10,936 square feet (1,016 m²) and accommodates 190 guests. The Adelaide location opened its doors on May 16th, 2025. The opening of the Adelaide Business Lounge completes Qantas’ rollout of premium business lounges in every mainland capital in Australia.

Amenities

There are TVs, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a variety of seating options. The lounge features locally sourced furniture, lighting, and natural materials, including a commissioned blown glass light installation from the JamFactory. Being a business lounge, they have covered approximately 80% of the lounge's seating areas with power using a mixture of USB-A, USB-C, and wireless charging pads to keep you connected while relaxing. The lounge also has upgraded shower suites and restrooms.

Dining and Beverage

The new business class lounge has amenities for business and non-business travellers alike. The heart of the lounge is the Market Kitchen, a live cooking station featuring food using local ingredients and menu items local to the region. Chef Neil Perry and renowned (Barossa) chef Maggie Beer have worked together to create an amazing menu. Some example dishes include roast vegetable paella, lamb cutlets, and Maggie's signature pâté and sparkling Ruby Cabernet. There is also a full-service bar located centrally in the lounge to allow easy access from all areas.

Closing Thoughts

It's nice to see another oneworld lounge open at the Adelaide airport. There are now five lounges at the airport, including another Qantas Club in the international terminal. Considering its open design and business focus, I am slightly surprised not to see a conference room or phone booths at this location.
