San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is set to introduce two wait n' rest in-terminal "lounges" with private sleep rooms and speakeasy-style dining. Pricing information has not been released for SFO, but current pricing in Miami (MIA) starts at $40 per hour or $200 for an overnight (8 hour) stay for single occupancy (with a maximum of 4 guests per room).
The Bogota (BOG) wait n' rest has partnered with Priority Pass and offers a 2-hour stay as part of the membership, but no other locations are partnered with Priority Pass as yet.
The lease document provides lots of interesting information, but most notable is the expected revenue that is forecasted to generate at least $4.2 million for SFO over its 12-year term.

San Francisco Airport currently has a Freshen Up (Nap Room) facility in its International Terminal, but the new wait n' rest looks like a great addition for those looking for a sleep lounge. The opening of these new SFO sleep lounges is part of the broader effort to expand premium travel services to travelers. In addition to these new sleep lounges, there are plans for a new private luxury terminal and a massive United Airlines Club in Terminal 2 planned to open in 2026.

Closing Thoughts
I look forward to seeing this open and hopefully doing a review in the future. For me, this could make sense for a long layover, but customers will need to do a cost-benefit analysis on if staying here vs. paying for lounge access or hotel access makes better sense.
