During a recent connection in Las Vegas (LAS), while waiting for my name to clear the waitlist of the Chase Sapphire Lounge, I decided to visit The Chrioport and get a massage. The process was very relaxing and simple.

Location and Access

Vegas has two Chiroport locations, one in the B Gates (near B10) and the other in the C Gates (near Gate C24). The location is open daily from 08:00 to 18:00 (6pm) and is practically next door to the Chase Sapphire Lounge. I visited the C24 location around 1:30pm on a Friday, and there was no wait.

I used my Priority Pass membership associated with my Chase Sapphire Reserve card. Upon entering the lounge, the specialist (Donna) scanned my Priority Pass card and boarding pass, and we got started.

The Massage

Note: The massage that is included with Priority Pass is a (20-minute) Hands-on-Stretch & Massage session (called a Chirosage) and has an estimated value of $79 (according to Priority Pass).

While massage components were included (mostly with a Theragun), the other components included pressure and stretching, which resulted in a more therapeutic-feeling experience. The practitioner asked about any physical conditions or injuries prior to beginning, including any areas of soreness.

Pressure was applied along the sides of the spine and various muscle groups and progressed from one side of the body to the other. Legs/hips were rotated in circles. Arms, legs, and neck were stretched. Biofreeze product was offered, in my case applied on the low back and shoulders.

Overall Rating: 4.1

Pros: very relaxing and a great way to unwind between flights; Donna was great, and I recommend her.
Cons: the room is a bit small, with not much room for luggage. Additionally, the setting was not strictly private during the session, as people wandered into the booth to ask questions twice in the 20-minute session.

Closing Thoughts

I really recommend this service, especially if you have an eligible Priority Pass card (note: some credit cards that offer Priority Pass memberships don't include non-lounge services). I also think it is worth noting that the person who helped me had her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) and is able to offer many advanced chiropractic services if you are in need. Depending on your health insurance, you might also be able to use your HSA or FSA for coverage.
