Gameway Gaming Lounge Opens a New Location at Detroit (DTW) Airport

Gameway has opened a gaming lounge at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). This new gaming venue is open daily from 06:00 to 22:00 (10:00 pm). This latest addition is one of two Gameway lounges planned to open in the (DTW) McNamara Terminal. This one is located in the A Concourse (north side), near gate A63.
The opening of this new location is part of the refresh happening at DTW, which was announced last year with the addition of 12 new retail shops, six restaurants, and two video game lounges. Gameway appears to be opening two different types of gaming lounges in Detroit, the "Classic" and an "Ultra" lounge. The Ultra lounge will be similar to the Classic but also offer canned alcoholic beverages. The second location appears not to be open yet.
Amenities
This gaming lounge features 9 individual gaming stations equipped with PlayStation or Xbox consoles pre-loaded with games. Each station includes a customized lounge chair, a 43″ 4K TV, gaming headphones, charging (USB) ports for your devices, and ample space for your luggage. There are also 8 high-performance gaming Windows PCs, paired with exclusive Corbeau gaming chairs to enhance your gaming experience. Or, for a nostalgic experience, head to our retro game bar where you can enjoy classic consoles and games. The lounge also offers pre-packaged snacks and beverages available for purchase.
Pricing
- 30 minutes ($17.99)

There are currently eight Gameway lounges located throughout the United States, with three new ones planned to open this year. The new locations are planned for Chicago (MDW), New York (JFK), and the additional location here at Detroit (DTW).

Closing Thoughts
I am unsure if this lounge is branded as a Classic or Ultra lounge. Also, this lounge is not currently part of Priority Pass, but I will keep an eye open to see if that changes in the future.
