ITA Airways has completed its redesign of the Runway Lounge at the Milan Linate (LIN) Airport in Italy and opened its doors on May 15th, 2025. The upgraded lounge is located near gate A17 in the Schengen departure area. The lounge is open daily from 06:00 to 22:00 (10 pm) and spans 5,188 square feet (482 m²), with a capacity for 125 customers.

The lounge is divided into three different zones, each with a distinct purpose: relaxation, working, or dining. The "silent room" is located inside an ITA Airways replica cabin. The lounge also has windows overlooking the airport and allowing in natural light. There are private work areas (phone booths) that are ideal for calls and meetings. The lounge has a digital newsstand and magazines with access to over 1000 publications with content from 62 countries in 35 different languages.

Closing Thoughts

The overall design of this lounge looks impressive and comfortable. The Milan Linate airport is busy, with 1.25 million passengers in Q1 2025, and has six operating lounges. I like the aircraft replica "silent room" they added.
