STAR Bank has sponsored a lounge at the Fort Wayne Airport (FWA), which opened its doors on May 15, 2025. The Gateway Lounge is the first and only lounge at the Fort Wayne airport and the second airport lounge in the entire state of Indiana (not including one USO military lounge). The lounge is located beyond the (TSA) security checkpoint on the 2nd floor, adjacent to Hop River Brewing and Bon Bon's Coffee.

Access

The lounge has not partnered with any lounge programs or airlines, so access is only available by payment. They offer both one-time (day passes) and annual memberships for purchase. Introductory pricing is $150 for an annual membership and $30 for day passes, these can be purchased directly on the website.

Annual memberships include unlimited access for one year and allow one accompanying guest per member. Day passes, available on a limited basis, are good for one day and do not include guest access.

Amenities

Fort Wayne (FWA) is Indiana's third busiest airport, serving 13 domestic destinations and served by four airlines, including Allegiant, American, Delta, and United.

Closing Thoughts

The Gateway Lounge presented by STAR Bank, is the only bank lounge I can think of in the United States (excluding lounges operated by American Express, Chase, and Capital One). This lounge looks nice and modern, and looks like a great place to work or relax. I would love to see this type of lounge offering open at other airports.
