Oman Air Becomes the 15th Member of the oneworld Alliance

Oman Air has become the 15th member of the oneworld Alliance. Starting on July 1, 2025, oneworld Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby status members will now receive more shared benefits, including earning and redeeming miles, lounge access, and priority check-in and boarding. Additionally, Oman Air's Sinbad (Silver and Gold) rewards members will gain access to oneworld's priority benefits, which include nearly 700 airport lounges, as well as newly opened oneworld branded lounges in Amsterdam (AMS) and Seoul (ICN).

Oman Air operates a small network of airport lounges across three airports and two countries.

  1. Salalah, Oman (SLL)
  2. Muscat, Oman (MCT)
  3. Bangkok, Thailand (BKK)

The addition of Oman Air to oneworld will greatly expand benefits for customers traveling in the Middle East. Competing with oneworld are SkyTeam and Star Alliance, which together serve 58 member airlines.
