Plaza Premium has opened a new lounge at the Al Wajh Airport (EJH) in Saudi Arabia. This new lounge opening was announced on July 21, 2026. The lounge is located near Gate 2 and is open daily from 09:00 to 18:00 (6 pm).
The Al-Wajh airport is located on the Red Sea Coast and currently has flights to a very limited number of Saudi Arabian cities, such as Riyadh (RUH) and Jeddah (JED). The Al Wajh airport originally opened in 1977, but like many other airports in Saudi Arabia is going through a modernization and expansion.
Amenities
The lounge design features local heritage elements in a warm and elegant atmosphere. Inside the lounge, customers will find comfortable seating, complimentary food & beverage refreshments (including halal and vegetarian options), complimentary coffee, tea and soft drinks, magazines, flight monitors, private family rooms, charging, a nursing room, and restrooms. There is also a prayer room located next to the lounge.

Customers can access the lounge by making a reservation (currently SAR 153.00, ~$40 USD) on the Plaza Premium website, paying at the door, or eligible Dragonpass members can access the lounge. Children under 2 years old are admitted free.

Closing Thoughts
This lounge and terminal redesign looks amazing. It is nice to see the renovations in Saudi Arabia move along. I imagine this lounge will also be a contract lounge for Saudia Airlines, but I was unable to verify.
