Key Takeaways

  • Plaza Premium Lounge and Plaza Premium First have opened at Bangkok (BKK) sharing an entrance in Concourse G near Gate G1.
  • The lounges operate 24 hours offering elevated dining and bar, plus amenities such as showers, accessible restrooms, and a prayer room.

Plaza Premium Group has opened two new lounges at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) in southern Thailand. This dual-lounge opening includes a Plaza Premium and Plaza Premium First lounge using a shared entrance and reception, following the same model they have used at select other locations, such as Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Hong Kong (HKG). The new 24-hour lounges are located (airside) on the third floor in Concourse G, near Gate G1 (International Departures).

The launch of Plaza Premium First and Plaza Premium Lounge at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport reflects our global direction of expanding award-winning airport hospitality into key international gateways. Bangkok represents a critical hub in Southeast Asia—defined by warmth, flavour, and an unmistakable sense of place, said Mr. Song Hoi See, Founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group. By introducing our dual-lounge concept at BKK, we empower travellers to choose the experience that best suits their journey while enjoying authentic Thai hospitality until the moment they depart.

Both lounges offer a prayer room, accessible restrooms and showers, as well as large windows providing a view outdoors to a central area with trees and green tropical plants.

Plaza Premium Lounge

The Plaza Premium Lounge is the larger of the two spots and spans 6,222 square feet (578 m²) with seating for 98 passengers. This lounge offers comfortable seating and locally inspired Thai flavors, featuring live cooking stations. The lounge is also great for families as well as others traveling solo or in a group.
