Plaza Premium Announces it Will Open Two Lounges in New York (JFK) T1

Plaza Premium Group has announced it will be opening two new lounges in Terminal One of the New York Kennedy Airport (JFK). The two new lounges will consist of an airside (post-security) lounge and a landside (pre-security) lounge; combined, the lounges will span 14,000 square feet (1,300 m²).

Plaza Premium First Lounge

This ultra-premium lounge will be located airside and provide an elevated experience for travelers. The lounge will feature the brand’s signature Infinity Room, bespoke services, and personalized experiences tailored to travelers seeking ultimate comfort and privacy.

Plaza Premium (Landside) Lounge

Complementing the First Lounge will be a Plaza Premium Lounge in the pre-security arrivals hall. This lounge will be located strategically near curbside and provide an experience tailored for international travelers, including premium amenities such as showers and a comfortable retreat for departing guests, early arrivals, or greeters seeking a moment of calm.

Also noteworthy, except for military lounges and a few hotel-run airport lounges, there is currently only one landside airport lounge in the United States*: the VIP One Lounge (JFK).

Closing Thoughts

This is very exciting to have another Plaza Premium First lounge open. Terminal One is planned to open in the summer of 2026, and hopefully the lounge will be part of the grand opening.
