Plaza Premium Opens Relocated Arrival Lounge at Langkawi Airport (LGK)
Plaza Premium has completed a major upgrade to the arrival lounge at the Langkawi International Airport (LGK) in Malaysia. This newly relocated lounge is located just outside the arrival area (landside), offering travelers an accessible lounge experience upon landing or before departure. The lounge is open daily from 07:00 to 22:00 (10 pm).
This relocation marks a new chapter for Plaza Premium Lounge in Langkawi. While the space has been transformed, our heart and soul remain the same dedicated to making travel better by combining world-class hospitality with a strong sense of place,said Mr. Cavin Loh, Regional General Manager of Plaza Premium Group.

The lounge will also feature some local dishes, such as Spicy Chicken Langkawi Luxe with Trio Sambal. Local art is also being showcased by a collaboration of The People Art Gallery (TAPG) featuring items from Langkawi’s art scene.
Access
The lounge can be booked for 1 to 10 hours with a starting price (for 1 hour) of ~$29.50 USD (118 MYR), and walk-up booking is also available. Priority Pass and Dragonpass members can receive free access to the lounge using their membership.
Closing Thoughts
During my research I looked at some before and after pictures of this lounge, and it is a much needed upgrade and redesign. This is the only lounge located at the airport, so I expect it to be very popular. This is the first time I have seen a lounge you can book for 10 HOURS, but this could be useful if you wanted to get some rest before a flight.
