Priority Pass Now Allows Payment Card Swipe for Lounge Access
Priority Pass has enabled a new feature allowing members access to a Priority Pass lounge with their associated payment card linked to their profile. This functionality can be used instead of traveling with a physical membership card.*
Current payment cards are automatically activated for you to use to enter lounges. It is recommended that you log in to your Priority Pass account and confirm your credit card is valid (under the My Details tab). If you make any changes to your credit card information in your profile, allow 12 hours for the activation to take effect.
* Note: some locations will not accept this entry method. It is recommended that you have your membership card just in case.
Closing Thoughts
This enhancement adds a nice piece of mind since I always have to remember my Priority Pass card when I travel. I have multiple Priority Pass memberships, and remembering which one to use can be difficult; this new option now helps me and cuts down on what I need to pack.
