SkyTeam has opened a new lounge at the Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) in Terminal 3 (Mezzannine) in the non-Schengen (international) zone. This new lounge opened to the public on April 22, 2026, and spans 5,920 square feet (550 m²). The lounge is open daily 3 hours before the first SkyTeam member flight until the last departure.

We are proud to welcome travelers to our new lounge in Frankfurt, a key hub in the heart of Europe. This opening reflects our continued commitment to enhancing the airport experience and delivering greater value for our member airlines' most loyal customers. The new lounge combines comfort, quality and thoughtful design in one of the region's most important aviation markets. said Patrick Roux CEO, SkyTeam

The new Frankfurt SkyTeam lounge is on the smallish side with seating for 126 travelers but is still full of amenities. The design of the lounge features large windows with panoramic views of the airport, incorporating modern comfort. Customers can enjoy a full buffet with live cooking stations, digital menus, and QR code ordering. There is also a full bar, which features a selection of German beers and wines.

Closing Thoughts

This lounge looks amazing, especially since it is one of only 3 lounges in the new Terminal 3 at Frankfurt International Airport. I was at Frankfurt in May 2026 but flew out of Terminal 2, so I was not able to see this lounge.
