SkyTeam Opens Lounge at Vancouver Airport (YVR) After Renovation

SkyTeam has re-opened its Vancouver (YVR) lounge after a renovation on June 13, 2025. The refurbished lounge spans 5,683 square feet (528 m²) and is located in (International) Concourse D, near Gate 53. The lounge, which is open 24 hours a day, spans two wings and features floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the mountains and the ramp area.
The lounge features a refreshed modern design and upgraded furniture. The lounge features areas that cater to both relaxation and productivity. The upgrades to the furniture offer comfortable seating options, along with shower suites, Wi-Fi, and other amenities.

Food and Beverage
The lounge features a hot and cold food buffet, including a noodle station. There is also a self-serve bar that offers wine from the Pacific Northwest and beers sourced from some of Vancouver’s finest microbreweries.


Access
SkyTeam Elite Plus, First and business-class passengers can access the new (international only) lounge when traveling through Vancouver. This lounge is also open to Priority Pass members when space is available. The lounge is not accessible to passengers departing on Canadian domestic or U.S. Transborder flights.
SkyTeam Alliance
Vancouver International Airport is served by SkyTeam member airlines, including Aeroméxico, Air France, China Airlines, China Eastern, Delta Air Lines, KLM, Korean Air, and Xiamen Airlines. These eight member airlines provide non-stop service to nine destinations around the world.

Closing Thoughts
The Vancouver SkyTeam Lounge has been listed in the top ten Alliance lounges for the last few years, including winning third place in the 2024 SKYRAX awards. There are three other SkyTeam Alliance Lounges, located in Dubai (DXB), Santiago (SCL), and Sydney (SYD); however, the Vancouver (YVR) lounge is the only SkyTeam-branded lounge in North America.
