The Club at New Orleans (MSY) Unveils Renovated Lounge
The Club Lounge at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans Airport (MSY) has completed its renovations. The lounge refurbishments were unveiled on February 4th, 2026, with a redesign that honors the style and character of the city of New Orleans. During the renovation the lounge stayed open while trying to limit disruptions.
The update features a reconfigured floor plan with 85 seats, new flooring, updated wall treatments, and local art representing the culture of New Orleans. The new design introduces two distinct themes that reflect the city’s character.
- Jazz It Up in the Bar Lounge pays homage to New Orleans’ deep jazz roots. Rich finishes, bold accents—reflecting the rhythm and energy of the city’s legendary music scene.
- Secret Garden in the Main Lounge is inspired by the lush charm and elegance of the New Orleans Garden District. This zone evokes a sense of calm and refinement through layered textures, botanical elements, and warm tones.
The lounge is located in Terminal 1 (airside) near the entrance to Concourse A and is open daily from 04:00 to 21:00 (9 pm). As a shared-use lounge, access is available through eligible third-party programs, including Priority Pass and LoungeKey, or by purchasing a day pass for $50, regardless of airline or ticket class. Infants under 2 enter free of charge; children ages 2-17 require a pass and must be accompanied by an adult.

Closing Thoughts
Sadly, the press release had limited photos, so I am not totally sure about the status of the quiet room. It was a very nice feature in the lounge, and I am hoping they did not get rid of it and the pods. Otherwise, the renovation looks really charming and locally inspired.
