Québec City Airport (YQB) is Getting an Air Canada Café and Lobbie Bar
Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) has announced upcoming improvements in customer experience by adding a new airport lounge and new dining venue, which are both scheduled to open sometime in the summer of 2026. These two new venues will offer customers a better pre-flight experience and places to relax.
Air Canada Café
The lounge will offer customers an exclusive space to relax or work before a flight. The lounge will incorporate an open-concept design, with abundant natural light, a fireplace, and comfortable seating for small groups. The cafe will feature a regularly updated menu and a selection of beverages, including a full range of beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks available any time of the day. The Air Canada Café will be located post-security, near gate 29, and will have seating capacity for around 100 guests.
Access can be purchased on the airport's website, directly from Air Canada, or at the lounge entrance. As with the airport's parking facilities, customers who prepay can take advantage of a reduced rate.
Lobbie Bar
Lobbie, will be a fast-casual bar and restaurant for all passengers. Wine by the glass or bottle will be available, along with shared plates. It's the perfect place to unwind and discover something new in an atmosphere inspired by Québec's unique art de vivre. The Lobbie will be located next to the Air Canada Café and offers seating for up to 75 guests.
Québec City Operations
Québec City airport is the 12th-busiest airport in Canada and offers non-stop passenger service to 39 destinations in 8 countries. Airline service is provided by Air Inuit, Air Transat, Air Canada, American Airlines, Pascan Aviation, Provincial Airlines (PAL), Skyjet, United Airlines, and WestJet.

Closing Thoughts
From what I can tell, the existing VIP Lounge (which has been closed) will be where the new amenities will be added. It is nice to see this is an Air Canada Café since it will offer Star Alliance benefits as well as an option to purchase access.
