Air Canada Opens Domestic Air Canada Café at Montréal Airport (YUL)
Air Canada has opened its third Air Canada Café location and first at the Montréal–Trudeau Airport (YUL) on March 22, 2025. The new grab-and-go lounge is located in the domestic terminal, near Gate A2, and is open daily from 05:00 to 20:00 (8 pm). The new spot spans 2,700 square feet (250 m²) with seating for 58 customers.
The goal of the Café locations is to provide customers with a quick escape with refreshments, charging, and grab-and-go options for customers short on time.

Amenities
The lounge is on the small side but still provides accessible access and productivity-style seating for working or taking calls. There is also charging at every seat, including USB-C ports with enough wattage to charge a laptop. The lounge features custom abstract artwork by Montréal-born artist Melanie Authier.
Dining and Beverages
The new lounge features a curated menu of iconic Montréal snacks and local flavors, including:
- Grab-and-go food includes warm pistachio cream croissants, mini cheese boards, vegetarian wraps, and fresh salads.
- Montréal-inspired bagel and smoked meat sandwiches.
- Menu options accommodate a variety of dietary needs, with clear ingredient and allergen labeling accessible via QR code.
- Self-serve beverage station featuring all Montréal-brewed beer, cider, and non-alcoholic options, including locally brewed Gutsy Kombucha.
- Lavazza specialty coffees, expresso, and nitro cold brew coffee.
Access
To access the lounge, eligible customers need only scan their boarding pass at the eGates at the Air Canada Café’s entrance. Eligible customers include those traveling on a business class ticket, Aeroplan 50K, 75K, or Aeroplan Super Elite Status Members, Star Alliance Gold customers, and Aeroplan premium co-brand cardholders.

Nice to see another grab-and-go lounge option. Montréal (YUL) now has four Air Canada lounges for customers to use, including locations in the International, Domestic, and U.S. Transborder terminals.
