Travellers love Québec City for its food, charm and character, said Jacqueline Harkness, Managing Director, Product & Services at Air Canada. With this new Air Canada Café, we’ve created a space that feels like a love letter to the city – warm, calm, and inspired by its rich and unique character. Québec City is one of Canada’s great treasures, and we’re proud to bring a little taste of its magic into the travel experience.

Amenities

The lounge offers many amenities, including a self-serve hot and cold food buffet and a full-service bar featuring complimentary beer, wine, curated cocktails, and specialty coffees. Art is shown throughout the lounge, featuring pieces from celebrated Québec and Canadian artists, including Antonietta Grassi and Douglas Coupland. There are also abundant charging ports (including USB-C), high-speed Wi-Fi, TVs, restrooms, and flight monitors to keep track of your outbound flight.

This opening celebrates our continued partnership and a shared vision to innovate, collaborate, and truly make travel better.

This new YQB location marks the seventh Air Canada Café and expands the café concept as part of its multi-year global lounge modernization program.

Closing Thoughts

Exicting to see Québec City now has a lounge, especally considering it has been without a lounge since the “Tempoary” closure of the VIP Lounge by Club Med on August 3, 2025. It also appears that YQB will be getting a new airport-operated lounge called the Boréal Lounge in the location of the previous Club Med lounge, scheduled to open later this summer.
