Air France Opens New Lounge at Chicago O'Hare Airport (ORD)
Air France has opened the doors to its eighth North American lounge, with this one being located at Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD). The doors officially opened on Friday, October 17th, 2025, and is located in Terminal 5, where Air France operates.
The lounge is open daily from 05:30 to 23:30 (11:30 pm) and spans 5,059 square feet (470 m²), with seating capacity for 105 travelers. Throughout the lounge, you will see Air France's signature colors with shades of blue, luminous whites, and touches of red.
Dining
The lounge features a French-style menu that incorporates local and seasonal produce. The dining area has tables and seating for approximately forty guests. The menu changes throughout the day, featuring hot and cold savory and sweet dishes, including vegetarian options. Some choices include beef bourguignon, country-style chicken, and chocolate mousse with caramel cream. Sustainability is incorporated into the lounge, with particular attention to reducing food waste and sorting and recycling catering items. Water fountains are also available to reduce single-use plastic consumption.
The bar area is inspired by grand Parisian hotels, creating a festive, elegant atmosphere. Staffed by a bartender or available on a self-service basis, it features a selection of champagnes, beers, French wines, and spirits.

The accessible lounge has a refined, chic atmosphere with plenty of comfortable seating for customers to relax, work, or enjoy a meal. There are private relaxation areas, equipped with ottomans and seats facing the runways with floor-to-ceiling windows. For those who need to work, there is a dedicated work area with a phone booth. The lounge also offers TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and numerous power sockets (with USB charging) for charging. The lounge also features restrooms and showers for those wanting to refresh before a flight. Access
For quick, easy access, the lounge entrance features automated eligibility kiosks. You can access the lounge up to three hours before departure. Day passes can be purchased (subject to availability) up to the day before your flight in the āMy Bookingsā section on the website, or during check-in. Flying Blue Silver members enjoy an exclusive 25% discount.
Priority Pass...Yes Please!
One of the more exciting things about this lounge, as well as many other Air France lounges, is that they are part of the Priority Pass network. There are specific times when Priority Pass members are not allowed, but otherwise, lounge access is usually granted. The Priority Pass page will show when lounge access is not permitted for non-Air France passengers. The Chicago lounge reads "Access is not permitted between the hours of 12:00 - 17:00 daily."
