Partnership Announced Between Airport Dimensions and Blue Sky Group

In partnership news, Airport Dimensions (owned by Collinson) has singed a strategic investment in the Blue Sky Group on March 20, 2025 in Jakarta. Airport Dimensions has acquired a 45% stake in Blue Sky lounge group, which will pave the way for Collinson to expand into Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
The Collinson Group operates the well-known Priority Pass, LoungeKey, and Lounge Pass programs. Indonesia is the second fastest-growing aviation region in the world. The newly formed alliance has also announced an upcoming lounge will open later this year at the Makassar Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport (UPG). Currently, the Concordia Lounge is the only lounge operating at the Makassar Airport, so adding a new lounge at this airport will be a big plus for travelers.
Blue Sky operates 11 premium airport lounges at key Indonesian airports, including:
- Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Jakarta (CGK) x 3
- Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali (DPS)
- Juanda Airport in Surabaya (SUB)
- Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan Airport in Balikpapan (BPN)
- Samarinda Aji Pangeran Tumenggung Pranoto Airport in Samarinda (AAP)
- Hang Nadim International Airport in Batam (BTH)
- Supadio Airport in Pontianak (PNK)
- Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang (PLM)
- Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport in Pekanbaru (PKU)
The partnership will help Airport Dimensions grow more into APAC and help deliver an improved customer experience.
Closing Thoughts: Interestingly, the Indonesian lounge market is currently the 10th largest, with a current count of 44 lounges across 11 airports. This partnership should help grow and upgrade locations around the country.
