The Juanda-Surabaya Airport (SUB) Gets a Blue Sky Lounge in Terminal 2
Airport Dimensions and Blue Sky have opened a new lounge in Terminal 2 at Surabaya’s Juanda International Airport (SUB). This new lounge joins their other lounge, which is located in Terminal 1, to provide better coverage for travelers.
Aviation across Southeast Asia is growing rapidly, with secondary cities like Surabaya playing an increasingly important role in international connectivity, said Errol McGlothan, President of Airport Dimensions, EMEA & APAC.
The new Blue Sky Premium Lounge spans 4,972 square feet (462 m²) with seating for 101 guests and is located near Gate 4 inside Terminal 2. The design features Indonesian culture and modern elements to help customers relax. There are flexible zones to provide customers comfort and productivity depending on their needs. These zones include The Hub, which is at the heart of the lounge and offers seating for solo travelers or groups, and The Study which is more private and quiet for relaxing.
Dining
The Blue Sky Lounge offers various culinary choices. The lounge offers guests a theater-infused dining experience through interactive live-cooking stations, from made-to-order eggs, pasta, and noodles to a signature steamboat experience that celebrates local dining. Some menu items include Rawon Surabaya, Blue Sky signature mantau, and other items that appeal to every palate. There are also many beverage choices, including premium, locally sourced coffee and a professionally tended bar.
Access
You can access this common-use lounge via Priority Pass and LoungeKey membership programs. Access can also be purchased at the door for a single day (current pricing is IDR 330,000 - $17 USD per person).

Closing Thoughts
I really like the live cooking station demos. I have seen these in other lounges and think it is a great lounge amenity. The opening of this lounge shows the continuation of the company's strategy to expand across the Asia-Pacific region.
