British Airways Opens New Lounges at Miami (MIA) and Dubai (DXB)
British Airways has opened two new lounges: one in North America at Miami International Airport (MIA) and the other in the Middle East at Dubai International Airport (DXB). These additional locations bring British Airways lounges to over 20 locations worldwide.
Miami Lounge
The new Miami (MIA) lounge is located in Concourse E (Satellite) North Terminal near the Shuttle Train stop for Gates E20 - E33. This location is open daily from 13:00 to 17:00. This lounge spans 13,000 square feet (1,208 m²) and accommodates up to 220 guests. This large lounge is now the largest British Airways lounge outside of London.
The lounge offers distinct zones for those wanting to relax or work. There is a full-service bar, dining area with buffet, enclosed pods, and private seating areas. The decor of the lounge incorporates British charm with Miami flair, featuring rich wood finishes with art deco touches. Large windows provide sweeping runway views with seating located throughout the lounge. Shower suites and colorful restrooms are also available for customers in the lounge.
Miami Concorde Dining
Guests traveling in the First Class cabin can enjoy à la carte dining in the exclusive Concorde Dining area. Alongside table service, the menu features a curated wine list and dishes like wagyu beef, roasted scallops with Osetra caviar, black garlic beurre fondue, and yucca purée.
Dubai Lounge
The new British Airways Dubai (DXB) lounge is located in Terminal 1 and covers 5,800 square feet (539 m²). The Dubai lounge is open daily from 06:30 - 13:00 and 20:30 - 02:00. The contemporary design features arches, large tiles, and a chandelier hanging from the central area. The lounge features a full-service bar offering signature drinks, including a Dubai Chocolate Martini and a non-alcoholic Bucks Free Fizz. The self-serve dining area includes an Arabic breakfast, mezze, desserts, and a cheeseboard. Premium Champagnes, English Sparkling Wines, Coffee Planet, and Birchall teas are also available.
Dubai Concorde Dining
Guests flying First can access the exclusive Concorde Dining Room, offering à la carte options like Wagyu beef and diver scallops, paired with Champagne and English Sparkling Wine.
Access
The lounge is open to First Class or Business Class ticketed passengers, as well as oneworld Sapphire Tier or Emerald Tier members.

Closing Thoughts
These two new locations are great additions to the British Airways lounge portfolio. Strangely, the Miami lounge is open for only 4 hours, but given the limited BA operations from Miami, I do understand why.
