Chase has announced (on Instagram) that they are rolling out a lounge reservation feature at the Phoenix International Airport (PHX). The Chase (PHX) lounge is located in Terminal 4, near Gate D11. This service will start on June 23, 2025. Once live, the reservation feature will be available inside the Chase mobile app — this feature will likely be found under the "More" button, labeled "Airport lounges."

Pricing and Access

The nice thing is that the reservations are going to be complementary and can be made "between 14 days and 24 hours prior to your visit," according to the Chase website. It also appears that only Chase Sapphire Reserve card members can use this benefit, excluding Priority Pass, J.P. Morgan Reserve Card, and The Ritz-Carlton credit cards.

"Sapphire Reserve cardmembers flying out of Phoenix will soon be able to reserve their visit to the Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in Terminal 4. Reservations will be complimentary and open on June 23, 2025, for eligible Chase customers with up to two free guests and additional guests for the regular fee of $27. Children under two are not included in your party size. Reservations may be required and can be made on the Chase Mobile® app between 14 days and 24 hours prior to your visit. Reservations can be for up to three hours prior to scheduled flight departure."

Lounge Friendly: Phoenix (PHX) is a great airport for lounge options, offering nine lounges (American x 3, Delta, United, Escape x 2, Centurion, the Chase Sapphire Lounge), one USO, and a soon-to-open XpresSpa.

Closing Thoughts

I am hopeful that this will become an option available at all Chase Sapphire Lounges. I have never had to wait more than five minutes at a Sapphire Lounge, but having this feature is useful, especially on a short connection. I have visited the Boston (BOS) and New York (LGA) Sapphire Lounges; both were great and not too crowded. There are currently eight Chase Sapphire Lounges, with three new ones (DFW, LAS, and LAX) scheduled to open in the near future.
