Best Lounge Awards 2025 (Dragonpass Global Lounge Awards)
The Dragonpass lounge program released the winners for its inaugural Global Lounge Awards. For 2025, there were 14 different lounges selected from airports around the globe; these lounges were then broken up into 7 different regions. Each of the 7 regions was then broken up into two award categories (Ultimate and Rising Star). The 2025 award nominations took place from 9 October 2025 through 14 November 2025.
The Ultimate lounges were awarded to lounges that set the ultimate benchmark for excellence, delivering consistently outstanding experiences with service, design, amenities, and overall guest satisfaction.
The Rising Star lounges were awarded for excellence to lounges that may fly under the radar but consistently deliver exceptional service, comfort, and unexpected delight to travelers.
Africa
- Ultimate: Ahlein Emerald Lounge at Cairo (CAI) in Egypt
- Rising Star: Blueberry Premium Lounge at Harare (HRE) in Zimbabwe
Europe
- Ultimate: iGA Lounge at Istanbul (IST) in Turkey*
- Rising Star: Marco Polo Club at Venice (VCE) in Italy
Middle East
- Ultimate: Hayyak Lounge at Riyadh (RUH) in Saudi Arabia
- Rising Star: Crown Lounge at Amman (AMM) in Jordan
East Asia
- Ultimate: Domestic Terminal Lounge at Shenzhen (SZX) in China
- Rising Star: Frequent Flyer Member (Pre-Security) Check-in Zone at Beijing (PEK) in China
Southeast Asia
- Ultimate: The Coral Executive Lounge at Bangkok (BKK) in Thailand
- Rising Star: Kepler Club Sleeping Lounge at Kuala Lumpur (KUL) in Malaysia
North America
- Ultimate: Aspire Lounge (Transborder) at Calgary (YYC) in Canada
- Rising Star: Escape Lounge at Fort Lauderdale (FLL) in the United States
South America
- Ultimate: Primeclass Pacífico Isla de Pascua at Santiago (SCL) in Chile
- Rising Star: W Premium Lounge at Fortaleza (FOR) in Brazil
Note: * Turkey is located in both Europe and the Middle East, but for these awards it was placed into the Europe region.

Closing Thoughts
Over the years I have spent many hours researching lounge awards to find the best lounges. Most of the winners in the 2025 Dragonpass awards are new as award winners, but the Escape Lounge (FLL) and iGA Lounge (IST) have won awards during other award ceremonies. There are three main organizations that have related annual awards; they include Priority Pass, SKYTRAX, and World Travel Awards. I really hope that Dragonpass keeps doing this for years to come.
