Best Lounge Awards 2025 (World Travel Awards)
The 32nd 2025 World Travel Awards Gala took place in Bahrain on December 6, 2025, and the winners have been announced. These awards recognize winners and nominees across numerous regional and global categories, highlighting the top airline and airport lounges worldwide. There were 21 lounge categories with over 100 selected lounges, and the highlights are listed below.

- Caribbean: The Club Mobay at Montego Bay (MBJ) won Best Caribbean Lounge.
- Europe: THE LOFT by Brussels Airlines & Lexus at Brussels (BRU) won Best European Airline Lounge, and the No1 Lounge (T2) at London (LHR) won Best European Airport Lounge.
- Indian Ocean: Air Mauritius - Amédée Maingard Lounge at Mauritius (MRU) won Best Indian Ocean Airline Lounge, and the JetPrime Lounge (Business Aviation) at Mauritius (MRU) won Best Indian Ocean Airport Lounge.
- Middle East: Etihad Airways Premium at Abu Dhabi (AUH) won Best Middle East Airline Lounge, the Emirates First Class Lounge (T3) at Dubai (DXB) won Best Middle East Airline Lounge (First Class), and the Plaza Premium Lounge at Dubai (DXB) won Best Middle East Airport Lounge.

Closing Thoughts
Overall, the big winners were in the UAE and Australia, with the United States and Hong Kong having the most nominees. I do find it strange that the entire country of China, with the second-highest number of total lounges, did not have a single lounge nominated.
