Portland Airport (PDX) Gets an Escape Lounge Open to The Public

Portland International Airport (PDX) has opened its first common-use lounge to travelers regardless of airline or status. The brand-new Escape Lounge is located near Gate D8 and is open daily from 3:30 am to 11:30 pm. The lounge spans 10,000 square feet with views of the runway and Mount Hood.

Closing Thoughts
There are now five lounges at the PDX airport and three Priority Pass-eligible restaurants. The Escape lounge is the only Priority Pass-eligible lounge at PDX airport, so the opening is great news for travelers. The lounge is also open a whopping 20 hours daily, which is also nice when travelling early or late.
