Lounge Review: Delta Sky Club - New York LaGuardia (LGA) Terminal C
I visited the Delta Sky Club at New York LaGuardia (LGA) on a recent trip up to New York. This beautiful 35,000 square feet (3,252 m²) lounge offers everything you need in a lounge (with the exception of a shower). I arrived in the afternoon and spent about 2 hours perusing the lounge. When I arrived, the lounge was about 80% full, but there was still plenty of room to relax.
Location and Access
The LaGuardia Delta Sky Club is located in the newish Terminal C (which opened in June 2022) in the Sky Way. When I arrived at the lounge, there was a 6-minute wait, but once inside, I scanned my mobile boarding pass at the automated kiosk, and a green light appeared. For this visit, I used my Delta SkyMiles Reserve card to gain entrance. After checking in you take an escalator up one level to the lounge.
Lounge Amenities
The lounge is situated along floor-to-ceiling windows with aircraft views, including runway 31 where you can watch takeoffs and landings. Throughout the lounge, there are many types of seating options, and most seating areas have power plugs for charging (with USB-A and USB-C). Some areas also offered Qi wireless charging. I really like the wall of TVs where you can watch sports or the news. Another highlight of this location was the patio, which offers a heated, year-round deck for relaxing, working, or watching planes.
One of the things I first noticed when I arrived in the lounge was the art. Like other select Sky Clubs, they offer The Gallery brochure that showcases the art in the lounge. This amenity gives you a chance to have a mini-museum tour while visiting the lounge. When I visited, the brochure featured 17 pieces, which are displayed around the lounge.
Seating and Work Areas
There are many seating and table options, including soundproof phone booths, large conference tables, single semi-private seating, and the outdoor patio area. The bar areas also offer seating and nearby table space. For those who need to work, there is a business center with a printer and tables, great for working.
Food and Beverage
There are two bar areas and two self-serve drink stations with coffee, soda, and tea. The bar area was similar to those found in other Sky Clubs. There were many complimentary drinks, including wine, cocktails, and local beer, as well as upgraded options that could be purchased with dollars or miles.
The food choices were solid and available from two separate buffet areas. There was a nice split between vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, with many healthy options. I chose to try the Nacho Bar, where you choose your base (chips, beans, or ground beef) and finish it off with toppings like sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and jalapeƱos. I also tried the Quinoa, asparagus, and tofu wrap with chipotle vinaigrette. They also had pita bread, hummus, salad, and a dessert area with cannoli. Overall, everything was very good, except the hummus was too salty.
Restrooms and Showers
There are two sets of restrooms, both very clean and with private stalls, but no showers. I did notice the soap; not sure why, but it smelled very fresh and relaxing.
Internet and Noise
The lounge provides internet access using a code that can be found easily in the lounge, and I was able to connect without any problems. TheĀ speed results were impressive. I ran two tests, and the fastest of the two was 98 Mbps (down) and 66 Mbps (up). TheĀ noise level was moderateĀ (54.2 dB) around 5:30 pm.
Overall Rating: 4.35*
Pros: Large windows with great views, lots of natural light, a nursing room, high ceilings, and abundant art.
Cons: Slightly crowded; service could have been a bit friendlier; the enclosed outdoor patio lacks fresh open air.

Closing Thoughts
I have been to this lounge twice: the first time in the morning and the most recent in the late afternoon. Both times I was there, the visit was great. I love how this lounge has incorporated so much natural light and different types of seating. It is also worth mentioning again how nice LaGuardia Terminal C is. This place has been completely transformed from the old days, and I am always impressed when I visit.
