Delta Airlines has expanded its presence in Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) by adding its second Sky Club lounge. The new two-level lounge is located in the newly expanded Concourse B near Gate B26 and is open daily from 05:45 - 22:45 (10:45 pm). The lounge had its offical ribbon cutting on October 28, 2025.

With an impressive seating capacity for 600 customers, this new lounge spans 34,000 square feet (3,158 m²), making it the second-largest Sky Club in the network, following the 34,800-square-foot Sky Club found at New York (LGA).

Amenities

The new Sky Club features a thoughtful, elegant design with warm wood tones and a fireplace centered among the seating. The geometric ceiling and terrazzo mosaic flooring evoke the shimmer of winter light on snow and symbolize the state’s mountains, lakes, and caverns. Throughout the lounge, local art highlights textures and colors known in Utah. The Digital Immersion wall—a first for Delta—surrounds guests with panoramic visuals of Utah’s iconic landmarks, accompanied by nature sounds for a calming 4D experience.

The floor-to-ceiling windows provide immersive views of the mountains and airfield. Different kinds of seating and tables are found throughout the lounge. The lounge is great for leisure or business travellers, with high-speed Wi-Fi, a business center, plenty of charging spots, and nine soundproof booths for making calls and added privacy.

Dining and Beverages

The lounge features an expansive (locally sourced) food buffet with warm foods and snacks. Choose from fresh salads, sandwiches, and other snacks. The lounge features a fully stocked wraparound premium bar with seating for 18 people.

There are also two self-serve beverage stations offering coffee, tea, and soda, including a "Dirty Soda" bar exclusive to this SLC location.

What is a Dirty Soda?

Dirty Soda is common in the Western U.S. and has become popular among the Mormon community, as they abstain from "hot" or caffeinated beverages like coffee and tea. A dirty soda starts with a soda base — such as Diet Coke, Sprite, or Dr. Pepper — and adds mix-ins like coconut or vanilla syrup, fresh lime juice, and usually cream.

Closing Thoughts

There have been many new lounge openings over the last few months. This Sky Club not only looks beautiful but also has a warm and comfortable ambiance. This is the second Sky Club to open in 2025, following the Atlanta (ATL) Concourse D lounge which opened back in April.
