American Airlines has opened their second Provisions by Admirals Club lounge on June 30, 2026. This new grab-and-go lounge is located at the New York (JFK) airport in Terminal 8, near Gate 12 (near the British Airways Greenwich Lounge).

The new spot is located in Concourse B (Gates 1 to 20), where American does not have a lounge but does have operations, and joins the existing Terminal 8 Admirals Club in Concourse C near Gate 42. This new lounge spans 3,700 square feet (344 m²) and is designed for speed and customer flow, giving travelers quick food and drink options before flights.

The Provisions by Admirals Club space creates a more flexible lounge experience — one that combines thoughtful design, elevated beverages and quick access to fresh options, all while helping serve more customers, more efficiently. Amenities

The JFK Provisions lounge is centered around a barista bar featuring Lavazza coffee and snacks. In addition to the barista bar, a self-serve beverage station offers canned and bottled options designed for customers to take on the go. The lounge also serves prepared grab-and-go food, including both hot and cold options.

Breakfast is served until 11 am and features light menu choices, such as small breakfast meals, pastries, snack mixes, yogurt, and fruit options. After lunch, the all-day menu serves salty snacks, sweet treats, and savory meals. Vegetarian options are available at all hours.

The design of the lounge focuses on the goal of helping customers move through the space quickly and comfortably, whether they’re stopping in for a coffee, other beverage, or a quick bite. The lounge also provides in-lounge assistance by a dedicated customer service representative.

Access to the Provisions by Admirals Club will mirror that of any standard Admirals Club.

Closing Thoughts

This new Provisions lounge joins the Charlotte (CLT) Provisions location, which opened back in August 2025. As I have said before, I am happy to see grab-and-go being more of an option in lounges. I did not have this lounge on my radar; I was not aware it was even being considered. Now I am wondering if American is going to open Provisions lounges at other airports; I could see this being a big success in DFW, MIA, ORD, and PHX.
