Delta Airlines Opening 2 Grab-and-Go Sky Club Locations
News from a recent posting at the Points Guy reports that Delta Air Lines is getting into the grab-and-go experience. This will enhance the options for people short on time. I think this experiment will help with lounge crowding and will work like other to-go options operated by Air Canada, Capital One, Chase, and United Airlines.
The grab-and-go locations will open in May 2023 and be located in the lobby area of two Sky Clubs at two different airports.
- Atlanta - Hartsfield International Airport (ATL), Concourse B (near B18)
- New York - Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Terminal 4, Concourse B (near B51)
They will have select food options, including sandwiches, fruit, snacks, coffee, and other beverages. They appear to still be working on the name for this concept. Based on what I have read, it will differ from the Delta Sky Club Express locations found in Boston (BOS) or New York (JFK).

Closing Thoughts
I recently had a tight connection in Detroit (DTW) last month. Luckily my gate was right across from a Sky Club, so I was able to pop in and grab a quick snack and a drink. I was only in the lounge for 10 minutes. If there was a grab-and-go option, I preferred to take my food onboard. I look forward to checking this out next time I am in Atlanta or New York.
