I saw the news on the Priority Pass website and wanted to pass it along: the HelloSky Lounge at New York (JFK) in Terminal 4 will be permanently closing on May 31, 2026. The lounge was rebranded from the Primeclass Lounge in March 2025 and has been open for just over a year.

The closing of this lounge will not be a big impact in Terminal 4 since it has 12 lounges as well as other offerings such as Minute Suites, XpresSpa, and multiple prayer and relaxation areas. Once HelloSky closes, there will be five other Priority Pass options to choose from, including 2 lounges (Chase Sapphire Lounge and the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse).

I had a chance to visit the Primeclass lounge back in 2024, and it was very crowded and was lacking in many ways, but I never visited the HelloSky lounge.

Closing Thoughts

I think the rebrand of HelloSky was temporary while the lease ran out; therefore, not much effort was made in improving the lounge. Furthermore, Primeclass also operated the Air India Lounge, but rumors are floating that Plaza Premium Group will be taking over operations of the new Air Lounge once it opens. I am curious what will open next for this location once it closes‽
