Capital One Opens a New Massive Lounge at New York Airport (JFK)
Capital One has opened a brand new lounge at the New York (JFK) Airport. This new location, which opened on June 19, 2025, is the largest of the Capital One lounges, spanning 13,500 square feet (1,254 m²). This new lounge is currently open from 09:00 to 21:00 (9 pm) but has plans to be open 24 hours. These expanded hours will help provide services for international travelers while bringing a New York vibe to the airport.
The lounge is located in Terminal 4 (which is the airport's largest terminal), near Gate B23. There are currently 24 airlines that operate from this terminal, with Delta, Hawaiian Airlines, and JetBlue being the only domestic (U.S.) carriers.
Dining and Beverage
Capital One did something I have never seen in a lounge: they have a cheesemonger station! In addition to the cheese station, there is a bodega-style deli and a full-service espresso bar serving La Colombe cold brew on tap, hand-rolled Ess-a-Bagels, chopped salads, egg sandwiches, and more. As seen at other Capital One lounges, there are grab-and-go options for those in a hurry.
In addition to selecting small plates from a prepared area, guests can also order individually plated dishes, which are delivered to their table by scanning a QR code. The full-service bar serves signature cocktails, mocktails, local craft beers, and hand-picked wines.
They are also embracing culinary rituals throughout the day. These rotating "Daily Rituals" include Italian-style Caffè Shakeratos or shaken iced coffee, as well as a "Midnight Snack" ritual served at 12:30 am.
Amenities
There are seven private restrooms, showers, a parent's room with a built-in bottle warmer, filtered water stations, high-speed Wi-Fi, and power outlets (including USB-C) located throughout the lounge.
To keep track of your flight, there are flight information displays placed in convenient locations. There are expansive tarmac views, along with seating and table options for work or relaxation.
Access
Capital One Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders enjoy unlimited complimentary access and may bring two free guests (additional guests are $45 each). Reduced pricing for Venture and Spark Miles cardholders can also purchased for $45 per visit. Non-cardholders can buy access for $90 per person. Children under 2 are free, while those 17 years of age and under pay $25 when accompanied by a cardholder. Entry is valid up to three hours before departure or during layovers.
Capital One offers a reservation system to help you get into the lounge. You can reserve a time before you arrive to help reduce and even eliminate having to wait to enter the lounge.

Closing Thoughts
As mentioned above, this is the largest Capital One lounge ever to open and becomes the 13 lounge in Terminal 4. This location will join 26 other lounges at the airport and is the fifth location Capital One lounge to open, following Denver (DEN), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Washington Dulles (IAD), and Las Vegas (LAS).
