Jabbrrbox and the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) have added six new Jabbrrbox privacy pod workspaces throughout the airport. The mini-privacy pods were placed in pairs in all three concourses and can be accessed starting at $15 for 30 minutes.

These privacy pods are designed to escape the noise of the terminal so you can unwind or work. Each of the workspaces (pods) includes Class A Certified Soundproofing, encrypted Wi-Fi, power outlets (including USB) for charging, a desk, warm controllable lighting, and VOC-free ventilation. You can reserve a workspace in advance (online), or you can do so directly at the airport.

The Jabbrrbox process is pretty simple:

  1. Reserve your Jabbrrbox online or through the app
  2. Receive your unique PIN code
  3. Unlock the door and start your session
  4. Extend if needed and leave without concern -- the door auto-locks

The pods are arranged in pairs and are located at the following concourse locations:

Closing Thoughts

I think these make sense, especially if you are in  a loud airport and want to have a meeting or unwind. I have not been in one of these for many years, but I am likely to do a review soon to see how they have changed over the last 3 years. I also am not sure if it makes sense to reserve in advance, but I guess if they were occupied and you wanted to guarantee a quiet spot, it might make sense.
