American Express has opened a new Centurion Lounge at the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) on September 17, 2026. This lounge was announced back in the summer of 2025 and now marks their 33rd Centurion Lounge in operation and third location in Europe (and 1st in Continental Europe).
Schiphol is a major travel hub for our Card Members in the Netherlands and around the world. That made Schiphol a natural place to bring the Centurion Lounge experience, said Audrey Hendley, President, American Express Travel. As the first global credit card company to operate a lounge at AMS, we look forward to welcoming Card Members in a premium space designed to reflect the character of Amsterdam.
The Dutch-inspired lounge spans approximately 6,000 square feet (557 m²) and is located in the non-Schengen area between concourses E and F (near the Privium ClubLounge West Lounge). Currently the lounge is open daily from 06:00 to 21:30 (9:30 pm). The design in the lounge uses many locally inspired tones and colors, including blue and greens found across canals throughout the Netherlands.
The lounge features floor-to-ceiling windows, Dutch art, and various seating options, including armchairs, sofas, tables, private phone booths, quiet workspaces, and group seating. The lounge also has private restrooms (no showers); charging plugs, including USB; and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.
Food and Beverage
The lounge features a full buffet with local and seasonal dishes, which include European and regional Dutch cuisines. One of the the other cool amenities is a Blue Roast Coffee Bar which offers barista style coffee and a full menu of standard expresso offerings. There is also a full bar that serves local and international beers, wines, and cocktails.
Access
To access the lounge, customers must have the correct credit card, including the Platinum Card, the Centurion Card, or the Delta SkyMiles Reserve card.
