Lufthansa Reopens its Renovated First Class Lounge at Munich Airport

Lufthansa has reopened its renovated First Class Lounge at Munich International Airport (MUC) in Terminal 2, near Gate G21/H21. This lounge spans 10,764 square feet (1,000 m²) and is open daily from 05:00 to 22:00 (10 pm).
The lounge reopened on May 22, 2025, and during the first week of the reopening, customers will be greeted by special culinary treats, along with a special Welcome Back Duck, a special edition of the First Class rubber duck.
Amenities
The lounge features areas for relaxation (quiet retreats) as well as a dedicated work zone with printing and copiers. The revamped space features a newly designed "gastronomic" area with an à la carte restaurant, bar, and live cooking stations. The lounge also features entertainment areas with TVs, as well as a large selection of newspapers and magazines. The lounge also features showers and restrooms for customer use.

Access
Access to the lounge is provided to Lufthansa Group First Class passengers, HON Circle members, and American Express Centurion cardholders.
Note: The lounge can be accessed through Level 4, near Gate G21 for Schengen, and Level 5, near Gate H21 for non-Schengen.
Lufthansa in Munich
Lufthansa has a very large lounge presence in Munich, consisting of 12 Lufthansa Lounges in the Munich (MUC) airport.
- 5 Senator Lounges
- 4 Business Lounges
- 2 First Class Lounges
- 1 Café Lounge
As far as I can find, Munich (MUC) has the second most airline lounges for any single airline at any airport in the world, following Frankfurt (FRA) with 14 Lufthansa lounges. This, of course, is due to the Schengen vs. non-Schengen rules, but still very impressive!
Allegris First Class
First Class guests can also look forward to a renovated First Class check-in area in Munich. Starting this summer, the new Lufthansa Allegris First Class, which is installed on the A350-900, will fly from Munich to destinations including Chicago, San Diego, San Francisco, Shanghai, and Bengaluru (India). Allegris sets a new standard for luxury First Class travel, including two private suites and the exclusive Suite Plus.
