American Express Centurion Lounge Opens at Salt Lake City (SLC)
American Express has opened its latest Centurion Lounge at the Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) on October 28, 2025. This lounge will mark its 31st Centurion location and the first credit card-branded lounge at SLC. The new lounge is open daily from 04:45 to 23:15 (11:15 pm), spans 18,000 square feet (1,672 m²), and is located in Concourse B, near gate 31.
With strong year-round Card Member demand for travel to Salt Lake City, expanding the Centurion Lounge network here is a natural fit, said Audrey Hendley, President of American Express Travel. The lounge offers a refined, welcoming environment that provides eligible Card Members a premium place to relax and recharge.
Amenites
The lounge features a year-round outdoor terrace with panoramic views of the Wasatch Mountains. Just inside the lounge, there is a ski lodge-inspired room called the Hearth Room that has comfortable seating around a 360-degree fireplace.
Upscale coffee, including espresso and cold brew, is served at the Blue Roast coffee bar inside the lounge. Like at many other Centurion lounges, there are two full-service bars, which really help with long waits. There is a rotating warm-food buffet with curated menus by The Culinary Collective.
The lounge has a dedicated work area with windows that provide natural light. Throughout the lounge, art by local artists features a theme of the natural Utah landscape. There are warm tones, layered with hand-poured glass flakes that shimmer in the light.
Other amenities include premium shower suites and restrooms, private phone nooks, abundant power with USB charging ports, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi. In addition to standard seating, guests can unwind in plush loungers while enjoying the restorative benefits of wellness amenities, including compression boots and massage guns, complemented by health-conscious bites for an elevated wellness experience.

Closing Thoughts
If you are flying through SLC and have an American Express Platinum or American Express Delta Skymiles Reserve credit card, you now choose between three amazing lounges with an impressive 80,000 square feet of total lounge space. I am a little sad to see the removal of the Spa services from the Centurion Lounges, but I am happy to see they are offering some wellness services for people to use.
