Capital One Denver and Dulles Lounges Delayed to 2023

After hopes of Capital One opening their next two lounges this year, it appears their opening dates will be sometime on 2023. Both Denver (DEN) and Washington Dulles (IAD) are now showing 2023 on the Capital One Lounge page.

This news broke last month, but I just got word of this change from the Thrifty Traveler site. The change to the Capital One lounge page is now clearing showing a push in the opening date (from 2022 to 2023). There was not an official announcement from Capital One, but the delays are likely caused due to delays in construction (or some other related factor).

In the meantime, if you are at Dallas Fort-Worth International (DFW) airport you can visit their primo lounge in Terminal D!

Closing Thoughts

This delay is hopefully not too long and maybe it will still open in Denver (DEN) during the ski season. I have been to the Capital One Lounge at DFW and will say it is one of the nicest lounges I have been to all year. I will make a plan to visit the lounges for a complete review as soon as possible once they open.
