American Express to Open Centurion Lounge at Salt Lake City in 2025

American Express announced it will be opening a Centurion Lounge at the Salt Lake City Airport (SLC) sometime in 2025. This new lounge will be located in Terminal B and is reported to span 16,000 square feet.
The lounge will feature an outdoor terrace with views of the Wasatch Mountains. Following the path from other Centurion Lounges, the lounge will feature local ingredients, with a full bar and many chef-inspired dishes. There will be a wide range of seating options, including armchairs, cafe seating, dining banquettes, and dedicated quiet workspaces. There will also be a full-service coffee bar featuring beans from a local roaster, a dedicated wellness room, and other signature Centurion Lounge amenities.
Audrey Hendley, President of American Express Travel, commented: American Express has strong roots in the Salt Lake City community. It’s home to many of our colleagues and card members and a popular vacation destination for US and global card members.
Closing Thoughts: This is great news, considering how the SLC lacks many lounge options. Currently, there is a Delta Sky Club, a Minute Suites, an Xpres Spa, a Sensory Room, and a USO location.
