American Express to Open Centurion Lounge at Salt Lake City in 2025

American Express announced it will be opening a Centurion Lounge at the Salt Lake City Airport (SLC) sometime in 2025. This new lounge, located in Terminal B, is reported to span 16,000 square feet (1,486 m²).
Amenities
The lounge will feature an outdoor terrace with views of the Wasatch Mountains. Following the path from other Centurion Lounges, the lounge will feature local ingredients, with a full bar and many chef-inspired dishes. There will be a wide range of seating options, including armchairs, cafe seating, dining banquettes, and dedicated quiet workspaces. There will also be a full-service coffee bar featuring beans from a local roaster, a dedicated wellness room, and other signature Centurion Lounge amenities.
Audrey Hendley, President of American Express Travel, commented: American Express has strong roots in the Salt Lake City community. It’s home to many of our colleagues and card members and a popular vacation destination for US and global card members.
Closing Thoughts
This is great news, considering how the SLC lacks many lounge options. Currently, there is a Delta Sky Club, a Minute Suites, an Xpres Spa, a Sensory Room, and a USO location.
